With BoxOrganizer, you can choose to create either local projects or cloud projects. Here’s a quick explanation of the difference between the two:
🗂 Local Projects
- Stored only on your device.
- No cloud storage — your data stays completely offline.
- You cannot share local projects with other users.
- No automatic backups — your data is only available on your current device.
- ⚠️ Important: If you delete the app from your device, it’s possible that these local projects can no longer be accessed, unless you restore them from a backup of your mobile device.

💡
Good to know: Local projects — including boxes, items, and photos within them — are completely free and unlimited. You can create and use as many local projects as you want, just like in version 1.0 of the app. There are no limits.

☁️ Cloud Projects
- Stored online and accessible from any of your devices when you log in with your account.
- You can share cloud projects with other users, who can then access the shared content.
- Automatic backups, ensuring that your data is securely stored in the cloud and can be restored in case of a technical issue or if the app is deleted.
- Even if you uninstall the app or log out on one device, you can log in on a new device, and all your data will be instantly available.
- …
We’re continuously working on expanding the cloud features, so you can expect more functionality in the near future.
